I try not to post non-automotive content, but I have to tell someone. I love bad movies. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is a bad movie. The plot revolves around a shark that wants revenge for the 2 sharks Chief Brody (now dead) killed in the first two movies. As if that isn't enough, once the shark (SPOILER ALERT (for a movie released in 1987)) kills one of Ellen Brody's sons just off Amity Island, it follows her to the Bahamas where her other son is working. The plot is, in other words, next-level bonkers.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

I just found out that there was an opening shot for the movie that didn't make it into the final cut. Watch it - it's the director's way of saying "I give up."

Have you seen Ghost Shark? Sharknado got all the press, but Ghost Shark was actually even worse, and therefore better.

We watched the 2014 Godzilla last night - wasn't as bad as the 1998 Matthew Broderick fiasco, but it was not good, despite the critical reception. It's not so bad it's good, but it's conventionally bad. How do you screw up a movie with Bryan Cranston in it?

Ebert said the worst movie ever made was I Spit on Your Grave . I love that bad movie. I like the 2010 remake even more. Revenge horror is interesting to me.

Watch Jaws 4 if you haven't, then let me know what you think. Michael Caine is particularly awful.

No, I haven't. Not on Netflix - I'll check Amazon. And I was part of the Twitter chorus that got Tara Reid into the second movie - you cannot have a Sharknado movie without her.

She wanted the first one to be called Dark Skies, apparently. Nobody would have seen that. It's like Snakes on a Plane...that name is the whole reason Samuel L. did the movie.

I really liked the 98 Godzilla, it was corny and fun. But I got the feeling that it was meant to be like that on purpose, so I give it a pass. The new one, not sure Ive made up my mind yet. So thats probably not a good sign right. I kept thinking about Pacific Rim the entire time.

My current favorite bad movie is Tusk. I went in not knowing what I was watching, and was very ppleasantly surprised. I highly recommend it.

Pacific Rim was horrible. I like Kevin Smith, so we'll see how Tusk is when it's VOD. Red State was very good, I thought.

OK - I watched the last 30 minutes of Godzilla again. I think part of the problem is the movie is shot for showing in a theater. In my living room on a plasma TV it's too dark. That's part of it. The writing could be better as well. But at least they set it up for a sequel. Maybe it'll be like Star Wars - Empire was a better movie. Same with Dawn of the Planet of the Apes - Rise was good, Dawn supposed to be even better (haven't seen it yet).
